![]() It’s not a bad game at all but it doesn’t do much to differentiate itself from countless other physics-platformers. For the low price of $6.99 it’s a cute, fun physics-platformer that will last you around 1-2 hours depending if you go back and collect all the cogs and get three stars on every level. I had a really good time with Leo’s Fortune but I wonder what a team like this could do with more manpower and technology. For a mobile port, it’s solid and it’s in full HD which you can tell from the second you start it. This is a port of a mobile game with the same name which came out last year on the iPhone but I never heard of it until a few weeks ago when it came out on PS4. From the fuzz of Leo’s body to the photo realistic environments, this game looks bright and colorful and the animations are smooth and superb. The game has gorgeous visuals with great detail. Whenever you’re floating in the air or going up ramps building up speed, Leo controls very smoothly. I found myself dying a lot in the later levels but still coming back to it because of the great controls. The gameplay is momentum-based and things begin rather simple but as you progress through the later acts in the game, there are some puzzles that make you think a bit. Leo feels very much like Limbo mixed in with some Super Meat Boy and just a pinch of Sonic. Cogs are hidden in each level so you have to keep your eye out for those. The goal in Leo’s Fortune is to collect all the coins and cogs. There are 5 acts and 4 levels in each act and one bonus level if you collect enough stars after completing each level. ![]() Leo’s story unfolds in cutscenes that you will see after you complete each act. I was intrigued by this title since I have an infinite love of 2D platformers. On the surface, Leo’s Fortune has an interesting art style and some gorgeous backgrounds.
